Biden Flips Out On Reporters: “Sit Down!”

(ThePatriotWire)- As President Joe Biden was delivering remarks on the new gun control measure at the White House on Monday, he was heckled by the parent of one of the Parkland shooting victims.

“Take a seat!” You’ll hear what I have to say!” Biden said.

The heckler, Manuel Oliver, is now a gun control supporter after the loss of his son Joaquin, who was 17 years old at the time of the school massacre in Parkland, Florida, in 2018.

Due to the low quality of the audio transmission, Manuel Oliver yelled something that could not be understood, to which Joe Biden replied, “We have one.” Biden told Manuel Oliver, “ Let me finish my comments.”

“Let him talk. Let him talk,” urged Biden.

Biden said, “Make no mistake about it, this legislation is great progress, but more must be done.”

The incident took place when they were on the South Lawn of the White House. Manuel Oliver was carted away by security.

The Safer Communities Act, a comprehensive piece of gun control legislation that includes “red flag” measures, was approved by the Senate of the United States last month by a vote of 65 to 33.
The “yes” vote was cast by all senators who caucus with the Democrats, while 15 Republicans joined the Democrats in casting their vote in favor of the measure.

During a press briefing in the afternoon, the press secretary for the White House, Karine Jean-Pierre, disclosed that President Biden spoke with Oliver earlier today before the event and agreed that we need to do more.

Jean-Pierre would not reveal whether or not Biden would establish a new position on gun regulation, and she stated that she was ignorant of the specific topics that Biden and Oliver addressed.

Oliver joined other survivors of mass shootings and family members of victims at a news conference hosted by the gun control group Guns Down America some hours after the tragedy on the lawn.

Manuel Oliver stated, with his wife Patricia standing next to him, “I just told the president, who I know personally, who I voted for, and who I campaigned for, ‘President Biden, you’ve got to do more.’” “There is nothing for me to lose. When I say things the way I say them, I don’t see an issue with that at all… You cannot be nice with gun violence because gun violence is not courteous with you. You cannot be polite with gun violence.’
