The 2020 presidential election may have been one of the most controversial races in this country’s history. The ongoing reports of fraud, cheating, ballot dumping, ballot manipulation, etc., engendered concerns about the legitimacy of the outcome.
Democrats, of course, are downplaying any claims of fraud since the 2020 presidential election ultimately went in their favor. The left claims that anyone who mentions fraud or irregularities is perpetrating lies and shouldn’t be taken seriously.

As it turns out though, putting your fingers in your ears doesn’t make concerns go away. As a matter of fact, viewpoints about the 2020 presidential election still remain starkly divided to this day. According to Washington Examiner, few Republicans in the nation view Biden as the legitimate president of the United States.
Republicans on the Legitimacy of President Biden
Yesterday, Ipsos/Reuters put out a poll that centers around GOP viewpoints regarding Biden and last year’s presidential race.
As it turns out, after more than four months of the Biden presidency, many conservatives still have their doubts. Republicans acknowledge that Biden is president; however, the reasons they attribute to his presidency are largely not good.

56% of Republicans ultimately believe that Biden is in the White House due to the rigging of the 2020 election and unlawful voting. 19% of Republicans told Ipsos/Reuters that they were uncertain about why Biden is currently president; meanwhile, only about one fourth of Republicans believe that Biden is president because he fairly won the race against former President Trump.
Trump, since departing from the Oval Office, continues to maintain that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. The 45th president also remains critical of his successor’s policies, actions, and the subsequent results.
Upholding the Integrity of Future Elections
For better or for worse, the 2020 presidential election is over and done with. However, Republicans have learned from last year’s outcome and are taking subsequent actions to ensure that claims of cheating, fraud, and rigging do not materialize again.
On @foxandfriends this morning, Florida's @GovRonDeSantis signed into law a sweeping election integrity bill to better secure the state's elections:

Across states like Georgia, Florida, Arizona, Texas, etc., Republicans are passing election security bills. These bills ultimately make it easy for legal voters to cast their ballots; simultaneously, election security legislation also ensures that fraud and cheating are not permitted.
Today, SB 7 passed the Texas House – one step closer to the desk of @GovAbbott.

Democrats, of course, have politicized these election integrity bills from the jump. They’ve falsely and baselessly claimed that any bill deemed as election integrity is meant to suppress the minority vote. This is just not true; however, it is the narrative Democrats will continue to push for their own partisan, political reasons.
What do you think about the legitimacy of the Joe Biden presidency? Did Biden fairly win the 2020 presidential race or did Democrats manage to cheat their candidate into office? Sound off with your views in the comments section below.
