There is a very real possibility that Stacey Abrams, a Democrat and failed Georgia 2018 gubernatorial candidate, will seek a re-match against Kemp next year. With Georgia voting for Biden in the 2020 presidential election and sending Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock to the Senate in the runoffs, Republicans are eager to ensure that the governor of the Peach State stays red.
Hence, a nationwide grassroots movement known as Stop Stacey has started, confirms Breitbart News.
Keeping Stacey Abrams Out of the Georgia Governor’s Mansion
Jeremy Brand, the senior strategist of Stop Stacey, informed that Abrams has already raised $100 million dollars to ensure that a Democrat wins the 2022 Georgia gubernatorial race. Stop Stacey is essentially working to raise money of its own to ensure that the Georgia governor stays red; already, the organization has six-figures in seed capital.

Stop Stacey is already pointing out the radical socialist policies backed by Abrams. Job-killing regulations, socialism, higher taxes, and free speech attacks are just a few examples. Abrams has also infamously professed that the left-wing voter base is comprised of both “documented and undocumented” individuals.
Republicans and conservatives are working hard to ensure that Georgia doesn’t become a totally blue state. This will involve fundraising, outreach, and hard work; keeping a Democrat from becoming the governor of Georgia will also require Republicans getting out and voting.

Already, Governor Kemp is backing a proposal that would mandate photo ID requirements for absentee ballots. Measures such as this are designed to uphold election integrity and restore conservatives’ confidence in the U.S. elections process.
In order to stop Stacey Abrams and keep a Democrat out of the Georgia governor’s mansion, Republicans in the Peach State will have to vote in record numbers.
