Republican Governors Push Back Against Biden’s Agenda

by admin

The Biden agenda has not been a good one. Since Biden’s time in the White House, prices have surged, resources have become harder to come upon, and jobs have taken some real hits.

The Biden administration doesn’t seem to understand or care about the immense harm they’re doing to the nation; this is evidenced, in part, by the border crisis and that after two months since the vice president was put in charge of handling the matter, she hasn’t made a single visit to the area.

Pushback against the Biden agenda is imperative and conservatives are leading the charge. On Wednesday, a group of the nation’s Republican governors participated in a town hall event hosted by Fox News‘ Sean Hannity.

GOP Governors on the Biden Agenda

During yesterday’s town hall event, members of the Republican Governors Association spoke about the lockdowns happening in blue states, measures that have the endorsement of President Biden.

South Dakota’s Kristi Noem noted that she did not lock down her state, but instead opted to trust her residents to do the right thing. Iowa’s Kim Reynolds also noted that the current president seems to believe that the coronavirus pandemic is in its beginning stages, rather than the latter stages.

Governor Reynolds then declared that Iowa is being penalized by the Biden administration for slashing taxes, reducing regulations and keeping businesses and schools open. This punishment comes in the form of President Biden using taxpayer dollars from states like Iowa and New Hampshire to give liberal, locked down California a handout.

The Strongest Form of Pushback

Ultimately, the most effective means of pushback against the Biden administration is going to have to come from the state level.

This means that Republican governors across the nation will need to continue conservative and admirable leadership. Rejecting shutdowns, keeping the economy open, pushing back against anti-Second Amendment legislation, are more are each imperative. The one silver lining to the Biden presidency is the ways in which it’s revealed the importance of states’ rights.

With the White House under Biden’s control until 2024, GOP governors are the last remaining defense line against a radical socialist agenda. With that in mind, pushing back against the Biden administration will become a lot easier if the Republican Party regains the majority in the House, the Senate, or both.

At the very least, the GOP maintains widely projected to win back the House of Representatives. This, with the effective leadership of Republican governors across the nation, will help save America from succumbing to ruin with Biden in the Oval Office.
