The 2022 midterms will arrive before many Americans know it. Campaign season for the midterms is here and Republicans aren’t playing games or wasting time. Right now, the GOP is targeting Democrats in critical districts.
Furthermore, Republicans are holding Democrats’ feet to the fire on a series of issues where their policies have adversely impacted Americans. One example deals with inflation. Very recently, the National Republican Congressional Committee put out a series of ads, targeting Democrats over inflation, higher prices, and how leftist policies have engendered economic issues.
Now, Fox News reports that Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz is hitting the road to campaign ahead of next year’s rapidly approaching midterms.
An Incoming 2022 Red Wave
During this weekend, Sen. Cruz will be spending some time in Iowa. The purpose of this visit is to aid House Republicans in taking back the majority from their Democrat counterparts. Cruz will be present at an Iowa barbeque bash; moreover, the Texas senator himself maintains that Iowa is paramount to Republicans winning back the House majority.

After his time at a barbeque bash, Cruz shall then attend a campaign fundraiser for Nicole Hasso, a Republican candidate running to replace Iowa Democrat Rep. Cindy Axne. Cruz has endorsed Hasso and stated that her victory is critical to the Republican Party flipping necessary House seats from blue to red.
Cruz aims to build off of and expand the previous momentum of congressional Republicans. Like other GOP members, the Texas senator is eager to send Nancy Pelosi packing as the House Speaker.
A Make or Break Election
There is no doubt that the outcome of the 2022 midterms will significantly impact whether or not the Republican Party takes back the White House after the 2024 election. In many regards, this is why next year’s congressional races are make or break.
Furthermore, aside from 2024, if the GOP wins back one or both chambers, this means Biden will no longer have a blank check backing up his horrific policies on Capitol Hill. These midterms are essentially make or break for the United States as a whole.

There have to be some real checks and balances put onto this administration. This type of chaos that we’ve all been living under for a little more than seven months is not sensible, nor is it sustainable.
Sen. Cruz is far from the only Republican working hard to ensure GOP wins during next year’s midterm races. At best, Republicans will take back the House and the Senate; however, it is absolutely vital for the GOP to regain at least one congressional majority.
