Biden Asks Audience Not To Tell He Broke Masking Rules

Social media users were unhappy with President Joe Biden after he asked the crowd to keep quiet because he hadn’t been wearing a mask when he entered the room.

On Wednesday, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) and the Pacific Maritime Association signed a deal, which President Biden hailed. Biden attended the event in person and without a mask even though his wife tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

As he entered the room, Biden bragged that he’d been tested and passed with flying colors. However, he acknowledged that he was under strict orders to wear a mask for at least another week. He didn’t have it on when he came in and asked everyone “not to tell.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had earlier fielded questions concerning reports that President Joe Biden had removed his mask at Tuesday’s Medal of Honor ceremony and then neglected to replace it.

Biden’s actions caused widespread resentment on the internet since the CDC recommends that persons exposed to COVID-19 use a mask inside and around other people.

Texas Republican Ted Cruz lamented on social media that students in Montgomery County schools should have the same right to opt out of mask use.

After months of Biden scolding Americans for not doing their patriotic duty, reporter Charlie Spiering on X notes that they are now trying to depict him as a masked rebel.

Several critics wondered who Biden was trying to keep the secret from by urging the crowd not to reveal that he was not wearing a mask.

Phil Holloway, a journalist for Townhall.com, recently posted a string of four clown emojis to demonstrate his belief that this “mask theater” had reached absurd proportions.
