(ThePatriotWire)- Former Clinton advisor Dick Morris suggested that Hillary might be planning to run again in 2024 by staking out the “moderate Democrat” lane.
In an interview with John Catsimatidis on WABC radio, Morris said he’s been seeing “more and more signs” that Hillary is planning to run to save the Democrat party from the far-left progressives that control it.
One sign Morris sees is Hillary’s recent criticism of the Biden administration’s border policy in which she said Americans don’t want open borders.
To Morris, taking on Biden’s out-of-control border is a signal that Hillary plans to be the moderate choice in 2024.
Morris said if the Democrats lose big in November, Hillary will likely blame their defeat on the far left and suggest that in 2024, the Democrats’ only chance of keeping the White House is to run a moderate like her.
Of course, for Hillary Clinton to do that, she would have to lie. Hillary is no more a moderate than Bernie Sanders.
Morris told Catsimatidis if Joe Biden doesn’t run again in 2024, and it is likely he won’t, polling shows that the Democrat base is leaning toward a far-left progressive like California Governor Gavin Newsom or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. And if that happens, the establishment Democrats and party leaders will inevitably turn to Hillary Clinton and ask her to run again to “save us from the crazy left.”
If they don’t get Hillary, Morris added, the Democrat nominee will likely be someone like Bernie Sanders, and “we’ll lose Congress by a ton” then get “wiped out in the presidential race.”
Hillary has previously indicated that she has no interest in running for president again. Meanwhile, Joe Biden continues to claim he will seek a second term in office.
In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Tuesday, Biden said he will decide his 2024 plans after the November election, telling Tapper that he is convinced that he would beat former President Trump again.
