Huma Abedin May Return To Political Spotlight

(ThePatriotWire)- Huma Abedin, a former key adviser to Hillary Clinton, said on Sunday that she could enter into politics in the future.

When John Catsimatidis was the host of the WABC 770 AM radio program “Cats Roundtable,” Abedin served as vice chair of Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and her chief of staff during her 2008 White House run, said she’d like to run for office one day.

Although the former Clinton employee acknowledged that she preferred to stay in the background, she did leave the door open for a prospective bid for government.
“I say, ‘Never say never,’ at this phase in my life,” Abedin remarked.

She said she worked for another politician while married one of the most successful and exciting politicians. She said she enjoyed assisting them but has always had mixed feelings about going out in public by herself.

Anthony Wiener, a convicted sex offender and former congressman from New York, and Abedin are no longer married. She and actor Bradley Cooper are supposedly dating.

“What the future holds, who knows? It’s possible, but I highly doubt it,” she said.

In 2016, the Federal Bureau of Investigations opened an investigation against her ex-husband, Wiener, in response to claims that he had sex with a 15-year-old girl. The FBI took his laptop as part of the inquiry, and on it, they found private emails from Abedin connected to the Clinton email issue. This revelation revived the Clinton email probe, and the DOJ stepped in.

Clinton has blamed the FBI investigation into her email server for her defeat to former President Donald Trump in 2016.

Clinton and Abedin were not put on trial concerning the probe. Both of them have refuted allegations of improper behavior.
She was a White House intern in the Bill Clinton administration starting in 1996. Later, Abedin supported Hillary Clinton personally when she ran a victorious campaign for a U.S. Senate seat in New York in 2000. Abedin joined the team as Clinton’s deputy chief of staff in 2009, the year she was named secretary of state.

Abedin wrote a book, “Both/And, released in November 2021. Her upbringing in Saudi Arabia, her Muslim beliefs, her time working for Clinton, and her connection with Wiener are all covered in the book.
