(ThePatriotWire)- An armed man was apprehended Saturday outside Rep. Pramila Jayapal’s residence (D-WA). The man had a.40 caliber pistol in his belt, police say. A neighbor heard the man yell, “Go back to India!” and “I’ll kill you!”
Jayapal contacted 911 when her husband heard a pellet pistol.
Brett Allen Forsell, 48, was apprehended near Jayapal’s house in King County late Saturday. Prosecutors established probable cause for a hate crime and might decide on charges Wednesday.
Police detained the guy outside Jayapal’s home at 11:25 p.m. Saturday after she contacted 911 to report an unknown person or individuals in a car outside using vulgar language. According to the statement, she informed a dispatcher her husband thought someone discharged a pellet pistol.
Officers located the man on the street with his hands up and a.40-caliber pistol on his belt, the probable cause statement states. Police took the guy and his gun.
According to the statement, a neighbor heard the man threaten, “Go back to India, I’ll kill you.” According to the report, the neighbor observed and listened to the man drive by Jayapal’s home three times.
After his arrest, the individual told authorities he knew who lived in the house and intended to pitch a tent on their property, according to the statement.

Seattle radio personality Jason Rantz said Pramila Jayapal favors defunding police, restricting cash bail, and voting against SCOTUS family security.
