(ThePatriotWire)- Far-left media report that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) chided Fox News anchor Howard Kurtz for posing what she believed to be a “silly question.” But they are angry that she did not provide a complete response.
Last Sunday on MediaBuzz, Kurtz questioned Greene on whether she believed President Joe Biden is legitimately in office.
Kurtz asked Greene if she felt that Joe Biden was duly elected president.
Of course, Joe Biden is the president! Greene exclaimed in frustration. She then said it was always a silly question to ask.
But online leftist media were not happy with that answer.
They allege Greene did not honestly respond, omitting the essential phrase ‘legitimately elected.’
According to the report, Greene was among the more notable, leading proponents of the conspiracy theory that former President Donald Trump’s 2020 election was stolen.
Following the four-day vote in which Kevin McCarthy ultimately prevailed as House Speaker, Greene, who had been stripped of committee assignments, is poised to be reinstated to committees and is expected to play a significant role in the 118th Congress.
However, the report whines that despite her increased influence, Greene still avoids calling the Biden presidency legitimate.
After Greene reprimanded him, Kurtz stated he wasn’t trying to be silly; he was just trying to clarify.
Kurtz noted that Greene and McCarthy voted against certifying the 2020 election results on January 6, 2021. He asked if she believed it was still vital for the base today.
Greene responded that it was. In defense of her support for McCarthy, Greene pointed out that the same people Conservatives hold in high regard do not always have those voting histories, while they are criticizing Kevin McCarthy, who does. She said Kevin McCarthy objected on January 6, and he has been the J6 committee’s prime target.
MTG has taken hits in her popularity for slandering the America First hold-outs who forced McCarthy into making good changes to House Rules, while MTG herself did not engage in doing the same. Credit for any change goes to the hold-outs, not to Greene.
