A lot of new information has come out in the past week or so. This includes the admission that some facts about Hunter Biden were kept from the American public. Many stories were squashed by the liberals so that Joe Biden would look like the better candidate during the 2020 presidential election.
Now, Donald Trump feels as though he was cheated out of a fair election.
What is he doing about it? He’s demanding that there be a new election OR that he’s made to be the rightful president.
The question is…should Joe Biden be removed from office?
There’s a lot to unpack here.
Donald Trump lost the presidential election in 2020. There won’t be another presidential election until 2024.
Joe Biden was sworn into office in January 2021. That was done because it was decided that he had rightfully won the election.
Donald Trump now believes that, as a result of the FBI searching his home illegally and that too much information regarding Hunter Biden was muted, the elections were not fair.
Trump raged on Truth Social that “So now it comes out, conclusively, that the FBI BURIED THE HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY BEFORE THE ELECTION knowing that if they didn’t, ‘Trump would have easily won the 2020 Presidential Election.’”
The problem is that there’s no real way to know if the story hadn’t been buried if it would have impacted the election enough for Trump to win. Honestly – were enough Americans concerned about Hunter Biden to have it impact whether they voted Republican or Democrat?
Trump believes that massive fraud and election interference took place, which means that we can’t believe in the integrity of the election. His solution? Declare the rightful winner, which would be him. He also offers a “minimal solution” which would be to declare the 2020 general election as “irreparably compromised” and have a new election.
It’s unlikely that either would happen – and that’s because of the fact that Biden and Harris have already been sworn in.
If, and that’s a BIG if, Joe Biden could be removed from office, the line of succession would kick in. Kamala Harris would become president, not Trump.
Holding a special election to redo the 2020 election would be something so far outside of what has ever happened in the country. And what would that look like to the rest of the world? The United States would lose all of its credibility because it would prove that we’re not capable of running our country in a fair and legitimate manner.
Mo Brooks (R-AL) has been a longtime ally of Trump. He was a huge advocate of the “Stop the Steal” campaign because he believed that the presidential election had been stolen.
Earlier this year, Brooks revealed that Trump had been pushing him to not only remove Biden from office but also to install Trump back into the White House through a special election.
Obviously, Brooks wouldn’t have been able to pull off such a feat, even if he had felt compelled to do so. Instead, Brooks decided that what was best for the country was to tell Republicans from coast to coast to move on from the 2020 election. Focus on the future.
Such actions caused Trump to pull his endorsement from Brooks and called him “woke.”
Mollie Hemingway, a Fox News contributor, recently reported that what has happened is very serious. We cannot have law enforcement agencies controlling the outcome of elections. She said, “There is no constitutional provision to rectify some of the things that we have since found out happened in the 2020 election.”
There is no way that Trump can be reinstated at this point. If he is to be president again, he’ll have to wait until 2024.
Even if there’s the anticipated red wave during the midterms, the best that we can hope for is the removal of Joe Biden. Of course, that will leave us with Kamala Harris running things. Who knows what the right answer is to move forward?
