(ThePatriotWire)- During Thursday’s show of his “Triggered” podcast, Trump Jr., the oldest son of ex-President Donald Trump, cast doubt on the Florida Republican governor’s “MAGA” bona fides.
According to a report, his comments came following a live stream of an interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored, in which Governor DeSantis criticized Donald Trump and hinted that he would run for president in 2024.
Trump’s son wondered if it was possible that DeSantis had been acting this whole time. Was he ever a real “Make America Great Again” supporter? Or was it merely convenient for the elites? Trump Jr. said he hoped that wasn’t the case.
According to Trump Jr., DeSantis may be the swamp’s puppet. Thankfully, more and more people are aware of it. When someone shows you who they are, believe them.
Despite a legal assault against the previous president and rumors that DeSantis will battle him for the GOP’s presidential nominee in 2024, Trump Jr. has lately joined his dad in increasing attacks on DeSantis.
Reports show that during DeSantis’ 2018 gubernatorial campaign, which the former president backed, Trump Jr. was an outspoken booster of DeSantis, complimenting him for his unwavering support for his father against attacks.
Donald Trump Jr. criticized DeSantis for his lackluster reaction to the possibility of unfounded criminal charges against his father in New York. He suggested that DeSantis collaborates with his wealthy funders and is 100% controlled opposition.
According to a Harvard-Harris Survey conducted in March, ex-President Donald Trump leads the Republican primary for president in 2024 by a margin of 26 points.
A question asked of Republican respondents in the poll was, if the Republican primary primaries for 2024 were conducted now, who would they vote for?
With a four-point increase from the last poll, Trump now has 50% support. Florida’s Governor DeSantis was second with 24% of the vote. Third place went to ex-Vice President Mike Pence with 7% of the vote.
Reports reveal the former President has no serious competition.
