Trump Leads Ron DeSantis by Over 20 Points in New Poll

Democrats and the liberal-led mainstream media continue their efforts to discredit former President Donald Trump and prevent his triumphant return to politics in 2024. However, recent polling indicates Trump remains a powerful force in conservative politics compared to potential rival Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

On July 12, The New York Times posted an article bashing Trump using its recent poll. The liberal outlet claimed his popularity among Republicans has waned and cited DeSantis as the “most popular alternative” among potential GOP voters.

However, in reality, The New York Times poll showed Trump earning the support of 49% of Republican voters to DeSantis’ paltry 25%, giving him a 24% edge over the Florida governor. A July 12 Morning Consult/POLITICO survey found similar results, with Trump leading DeSantis by 31 points, 52% to 21%.

Several other polls show the former president leading DeSantis by an even more significant margin. For instance, Trump enjoys a 40-point lead in the most recent Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll conducted on June 28 to 29.

Similarly, Trump holds a 35-point lead in the latest Emerson College Polling, released on July 1. RealClear Politics shows Trump leading among Republican contenders across all polls by an average of 32.5 points.

What do you think about Donald Trump’s potential return to the political stage in 2024? Do you think he can beat President Joe Biden or whoever the Democrats put on the ballot?
